About Me: A Journey from TRS-80 to Full Stack Engineering

With a lifelong passion for building and solving, I bring over 30 years of hands-on experience in software development, product design, and business operations. I started my journey on a TRS-80 at age eight, coding a car racing game in BASIC—and I’ve been building ever since.

After founding and growing Citadel Auto Glass for 21 years, I led it through a successful exit in 2021. That experience shaped not only my entrepreneurial mindset but also gave me a deep understanding of marketing, systems, and operational scale. Since then, I’ve served as a contract Staff Software Engineer and business operations consultant, helping early-stage companies refine their product-market fit, scale infrastructure, and improve onboarding systems that drive revenue and retention.

At Volt Labs, I joined as a Software Engineer and grew into the Head of Customer Onboarding. There, I contributed to a 7x ARR increase, focusing on API platform development, compliance, and cloud architecture—specializing in AWS, PostgreSQL, React, and scalable service design. Whether leading backend systems or shaping client onboarding, I emphasize clear communication, cross-functional collaboration, and engineering that reflects business priorities.

Currently, I’m developing a business training course for an established entrepreneur whose previous model generated multiple millions in revenue for himself and his network of agents. The course translates that proven system into a scalable digital product—equipping new business owners with tools for growth, CRM automation, and AI-powered workflows. My role combines software engineering with curriculum design, ensuring the final product is technically sound, strategically structured, and ready to scale.

As a full-stack engineer, I build mobile-first, serverless applications with clean, resilient architecture. I’m committed to clarity, impact, and bringing grounded solutions to ambitious problems. If you're building something bold or meaningful—let’s connect.
